OVERVIEW

As the Asset Management Administrator (Software Asset Management), you will be responsible for the oversight of  software license compliance and licensing life-cycle management from purchase, upgrade, removal, and retirement; create and analyze System Configuration Client Management (SCCM) reporting, complete software installation assessments, in addition to providing licensing support with vendor license audits.  You will utilize strong problem solving and interpersonal skills to collaborate with customers, business partners, and other teams.  You will need to have the ability to engage in detailed data analysis and research to validate licensing compliance, installations, and user license entitlement to ensure overall company software compliance.
 
You will work with the IT Assets Management Team to identify and track the software within. You will work with end users, capture business data, run reports, manipulate data/reports, put information into forms, and other related tasks.  
 

DETAILS

Required: 
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel features including but not limited to pivot tables and Vlookups
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with software asset management
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • Experience with interacting with end users for software requests
  • Effective communication skills verbal & written
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to research software products, licensing and vulnerabilities; interpret and process software licensing terminology and vendor compliance agreements as well as other software reference manuals or procedure documents
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work on multiple assignments
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with company personnel, support staff, customers and external vendors
  • Thorough working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Product suite
  • Demonstrated customer service support ethic and focus to deliver the highest, most consistent level of customer service to our customers
 
Preferred:
  • Experience with ServiceNow – able run reports & understands the ServiceNow vernacular
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
