This role is for a combination of a Business Analyst and Data Architect.  The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Sr. is responsible for gathering and translating business and/or technical needs in to relevant documentation for assigned initiatives/projects.  The BSA Sr. is responsible for establishing consensus among project team members in relationship to assigned deliverables.    The BSA Sr. provides leadership and a collaborative approach to integrate the stakeholders, project team members, and technical service teams involved in solution development related activities.  The BSA Sr. demonstrates the ability to perform job functions in an independent manner.  The BSA Sr. acts as a driver of collaboration across project and service teams and serves as a liaison for project managers, managers, directors, stakeholders and other leadership as appropriate. This position also regularly contributes to the identification and/or delivery of functional area process improvements.
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for Quality Assurance on an Oracle Fusion implementation. 
The Analyst/Architect main responsibilities are:
  • Translate requirements, source mapping documents and models into testing solutions. 
  • Participates in the definition and implementation of legacy systems into Oracle Fusion. 
  • Participates in the cleansing processes in appropriate domains: warehouse, marts, staging or operational stores and source systems.
  • Assisting developers define the structure of each data store and/or interface
  • Test, optimize and deploy solutions which may consist of batch load packages, workflow processes, stored procedures, related functions and various scripting tasks.
  • Plan and coordinate changes with project team members, development and database engineers.
  • Work with the Infrastructure team to help develop and uphold data governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized data naming, establish consistent data definitions and monitor overall data quality for assigned data entities.


  • 8+ years relevant Oracle Enterprise Business Suite work experience

  • Strong knowledge of the most recent version of Oracle Fusion

  • Preferred work experience in IT/Technical Services supporting Finance or Accounting organizations.

  • Proficient in the Oracle® Unified Method (OUM)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong customer focus and demonstrated ability to work in geographically dispersed teams

  • Demonstrate strong analytical modeling skills (models that clearly and easily communicate concepts to customers)

  • Demonstrates effective technical system and business function documentation skills

  • Demonstrate advanced interviewing, listening, and observational skills used to identify and define business and technical needs.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills used to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, while reconciling discrepancies

  • Demonstrates the ability to bring applicable project aligned groups together and facilitate cross-group issues and potential competing priorities

  • Demonstrates ability to resolve complex problems, obtaining advice from key subject matter experts as needed.

  • Possesses advanced leadership and facilitation skills characterized by independent work and driving of results
