Job Description

AltaSource Group is looking for a strong internal Technical Recruiter to help us grow our already amazing team. Our clients include some of the biggest names in verticals that include: Finance, Media and Entertainment, Travel and Hospitality, Security, Gaming, Healthcare, and Technology. We are a passionate group whose bread and butter is creative sourcing techniques to find and attract awesome talent for our amazing clients. From managing the day-to-day sourcing and phone screening of new candidates, to crafting long-term consultative partnerships with our clients, this role will be key to driving the expansion of AltaSource. Not only do you get to play the sleuth by initially identifying and sourcing candidates, but you get to interview, screen, and, ultimately present top tier candidates for our client’s contract and permanent positions. The more successfully you connect candidates with our clients the more you earn!  

About you:
  • Experienced working in a fast moving environment and know how to come up with creative sourcing techniques to attract awesome talent.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You can build relationships quickly and know how to keep it to-the-point when communicating with candidates.
  • You’ve got a keen interest in staying in the know with Tech.
  • You know your way around different sourcing channels like Indeed, Github, Connectifier, LinkedIn, Stackoverflow, Twitter, etc.
  • You love the challenge of hiring elusive candidates,
  • You’re super self-driven, can deliver and have a “get stuff done” attitude.
  • You believe in people and the power of conversation. No hiding behind emails with candidates!
  • You can uncover technical aptitude and are able to distinguish between great and average Engineers.
  • Highly energetic (with or without coffee!)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A self-starter who will jump into action—we will provide the coaching, you need to take the ball and run with it

Qualifications and Skills
  • 3+ years of experience in technical recruiting prefered
  • You are a natural people person that thrives on building a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • You have a strong technical understanding of the current technology landscape
  • You enjoy challenges and problem solve on a daily basis
  • You have a strong track record of establishing trust with your account manager and client hiring managers
  • You have exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and grit to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You are an effective influencer, with great communication and interpersonal skills
