The role you will play:
You will work with the incumbent to learn and capture what they know.
You will spend 6-12 months shadowing them as you develop and learn how to:
Lead customer-focused sales processes to build trust and create value.
Monitor and improve the production performance of current accounts.
Identify and engage key prospective customers.
Build relationships with industry influencers.
Represent the company at industry events.
Provide top-notch customer support and stay updated on genetic and production technologies.
Aptitudes Requises
Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree in agribusiness, animal science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Swine production experience
A track record of improving results in requisite metrics
Multiplication knowledge and experience is highly desired.
Highly motivated and has well-established relationships in the swine industry, particularly with producers
Self-starter with a can-do attitude
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Sales aptitude - able to develop new business
Understands and can work with a long sales cycle
Creative Thinker - strategic-minded
People Focused - looking to improve producer results
