We are looking for a dedicated Feed Mill Manager to lead operations at a high-volume feed mill in MN. This mill produces over 6,000 tons of mash feed weekly to support our client's swine production. We need someone who can keep things running smoothly, lead the team effectively, and ensure feed quality and consistency.

THE ROLE
- Oversee all aspects of feed production, including ingredient intake, batching, and load-out.
- Lead and manage a team of mill operators, maintenance personnel, and drivers.
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, feed quality standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and finished feed.
- Monitor production schedules to meet livestock feeding timelines.
- Keep accurate records of production, maintenance, and ingredient usage.
- Work closely with the swine production team to ensure feed requirements are met efficiently.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- 5+ years of experience managing a feed mill or similar production environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop employees.
- Mechanical know-how to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Solid understanding of feed manufacturing processes and regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple moving parts.
