An established regional feed manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and mentor a team of sales consultants in developing on-farm selling and consulting skills throughout the Northeast.

The Job
Identify new markets and recruit sales reps to cover these areas
Identify and recruit additional sales reps and district managers
Ride with and manage all new hires in the region
Improve the skills of existing sales reps and district managers
Work with HQ to set up technical training for salesforce
Coordinate local dairy producer meetings
Help reps with the acquisition of large customers
Qualifications: Ability to overnight travel up to 40%. 5+ years as a sales manager with a feed company or feed supplier, an understanding of dairy nutrition, strong on-farm skills, excellent coaching skills and the ability to hold people accountable for success. Additionally, develop/maintain a few large accounts personally.
