HSS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to oversee all aspects of restaurant operations for our client in the Baton Rouge Area. 
 
The Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing costs, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a high-performing team. You will focus on improving operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and employee development while maintaining financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales and manage costs for food, beverage, supplies, and labor.
  • Lead daily operations, serving as the go-to contact for staff and guests, ensuring smooth flow and problem-solving.
  • Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage while supporting continuous training and development.
  • Conduct inventories and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Implement and communicate company promotions, policies, and updates.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the local community.
  • Handle financial tasks such as cash-outs, deposits, P&L statements, and budgets.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and retention of top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage guest feedback.
  • Maintain the appearance and atmosphere of the restaurant.

Qualifications:
  • Proven restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, P&L, and cost controls.
  • Serve Safe Certification and ability to obtain a Liquor License.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Flexible schedule, working 50+ hours per week.
  • Ability to train, coach, develop, and motivate staff
  • Ability to provide a guest-focused approach to floor management and create strong guest rapport
