Our client, an award-winning fine dining restaurant, is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a team of 30–50, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role in a dynamic environment, ideal for someone with strong operational, financial, and team development skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead both front and back of house operations for lunch and dinner service
- Manage reservations, guest flow, and special requests
- Recruit, train, and schedule staff to meet business and budget needs
- Monitor costs, inventory, and financial performance
- Ensure compliance with labor, safety, and food quality standards
- Oversee private events, vendor relations, and community engagement
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a General Manager or similar role in upscale/fine dining
- Experience with OpenTable, Toast, and scheduling software
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CA labor laws and food safety standards
