Job Description

We are recruiting a Local IT Technician to solve customer support issues on-site in the Bucharest office. You will be responsible for providing the local support for all employees and you will work along a team of skilled and motivated technicians! We are looking for an extremely proactive IT technician with a keen interest in technology, who is able to make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.

 

Responsibilities 

  • ITSM Tool Set (Ticket Management Software).
  • Correctly track incidents and calls timely and accurately.
  • Respond to computer related service and trouble calls.
  • (Desktops/Laptops) - Hardware and Software Troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement solutions.
  • Provide installation and upgrade services of supported hardware and software.
  • Support of key engineering applications at use within the business.
  • Move workstations and peripherals, as required.
  • Receive and provide required equipment (Install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware) IMAC (installs/moves/add/changes).

 
Job Requirements
 

Key requirements:
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices, including hardware and software support.
  • Experience with ITSM Tools: Ability to accurately track and manage incidents using ticket management systems.
  • Installation & Configuration: Experience with setting up, installing, upgrading, and moving IT hardware and software (IMAC activities).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Proactivity: A keen interest in technology, with the ability to suggest improvements and evaluate new products or services.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with local and remote IT teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer Focus: Strong communication and customer service skills to support internal users on-site.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks related to workstation and equipment management.
