EGS is seeking a Principal Technologist with excellent working knowledge of Autodesk Revit design software, strong skills using Autodesk AutoCAD would be preferred but not a prerequisite. MSTS has decades of legacy data in Bentley MicroStation which will need to be converted to AutoCAD on an as-needed basis. Any experience in MicroStation would again be preferred. This position will require the use of these software packages to create design drawings for construction projects and the future creation and modification of 3D models of systems and structures used to create the design drawings. This position requires direct work with engineers and project engineers to create design packages. The successful candidate will be able to work on multiple projects, maintain a high level of detail, work well with technical experts and management, adapt to project demands, and be capable of completing workload with little oversight.

Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
Minimum Education and Experience: Associate degree in field related to the position plus at least 9 years" progressive related experience or High School diploma plus 11 years" progressive related experience.
Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
Proficient in AutoCAD preferred.
Proficient in Faro Scene and Autodesk ReCap preferred.
Knowledge in the use of a 3D scanner, preparation and performance of 3D scans, combining scans, and creation of point clouds preferred.
Familiar with US National Computer-Aided Design Standards and its application.
Position will be 4/10s schedule.
Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Department of Energy Q Clearance (position will be cleared to this level). Reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR Part 707.4, 'Workplace Substance Abuse Programs at DOE Sites,' will be conducted. Applicant selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation, and subsequent reinvestigations, and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Successful completion of a counterintelligence evaluation, which may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination, may also be required. Reference 10 CFR Part 709, 'Counterintelligence Evaluation Program.
Eligibility Requirements - To obtain a clearance, an individual must be a U.S. citizen at least 18 years of age. Reference DOE Order 472.2, 'Personnel Security.'
