EGS, Inc. is currently seeking Structural Engineers to work for our DOE customer on site in their Idaho Falls, ID or Kansas City, KS or Oak Ridge, TN offices. These positions come with competitive rates along with excellent full benefits. Must be a US Citizen.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply your knowledge of materials, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design and engineering.
You will prepare design calculations, develop specifications, and support designers with drawing development
Using our state-of-the-art computer tools, you will perform the structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment and piping supports, and foundations
Conduct structural analyses, which include loading conditions such as wind and seismic
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year university (strongly desired but will consider experience in Liu of degree ) along with minimum of 10 to 15 years' experience working on industrial related projects. DOE project support preferred.
PE preferred
Proficient in basic computer programs including MS Word and Excel, web browsing and e-mail programs
Strong work ethic - highly motivated and willing to do what it takes to get the job done right
Eligibility for this position requires US citizenship; the successful candidate must provide proof of US citizenship in order to obtain badge access to the site
Candidate must complete security questionnaire and successfully clear site access requirements check

Must be able to obtain a security clearance, as applicable
