The Finance Manager reports to and supports the US Vice-President in ensuring the delivery of efficient, people-centric, customer-focused, corporate services to ensure the effectiveness of the USA organization in all its operations. As a member of the US leadership team, the Finance Manager directs and oversees the operation of all finance, accounting, cash management, tax, and audit functions and services. This role may also act as the general manager for the corporate headquarters in Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary area of accountability will be to actively manage company finances, accounting, and IT systems and identify and develop future business growth strategies.
Control, report and assist in managing company overhead, G&A, and cash management accounts.
Continuously adapt our services and support to reflect evolving business needs and company growth.
Lead company operations by maintaining office systems, coordinating with staff, and preparing a strategic plan to achieve future growth plans.
Interface with clients to ensure the quality of service, invoicing, and accounts payable status.
Lead the support and services functions, including management and development of company employees and managing contracted services.
To ensure efficient and timely coordination of all internal communications to USA employees as well as parent company delegates.
Developing, implementing, and embedding the Business Services strategy for the business, aligning to the overall HR, HSE, Quality, and Business Solutions.
Developing solid and influential relationships at all levels with strong stakeholder engagement (locally and internationally) to ensure the delivery of strategy.
Driving continual improvement with forward-thinking practices and initiatives.
Designs and implements company policies by establishing standards and procedures, measuring results against standards, and making necessary adjustments.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Process vendor payables and manage the office and corporate budget.
Participate and periodically lead company governance reviews to enable future improvements and delivery of surety.
Job Requirements

5 years of relevant experience in managing finance or accounting organizations within the government contracting community.

DOE/NNSA/DOD experience desired.
The ability to obtain Security Clearance is preferred.
The minimum level of Qualifications to be verified

Special Requirements: This position is for an international services company and therefore international travel may be required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.
