Kleinfelder is seeking qualified field staff for a Phase I archaeological survey in the southern Virginia Piedmont beginning no sooner than the first week of April. This project is scheduled to last for approximately eight weeks. Time to travel to the project area will be paid. Lodging will be provided for the duration of the project. Per diem will be $46 for each night spent in the hotel. Pay for this position will be $17 to $19 per hour based on experience.
As an on-call position, work on future projects at various locations across the Eastern United States is anticipated. Prior experience shovel testing, systematic surface walkovers, and conducting cultural surveys is preferred. Must be willing to work independently and as a team.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology or closely related field required. Certifications as required.
