Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Supermarket Refrigeration Technician to join our team of technical trainers. Trainers will teach technicians on grocery store, on their refrigeration equipment. This group is responsible for walk-in cooler and freezer installation, refrigerated display cases and other commercial refrigeration equipment installations and repair.
Training of the client's technicians is a vital role in protecting consumer foods and client's brand reputation to their customers.  
You will be trained to develop and deliver curriculum in supermarket refrigeration to continue to grow and educate our employees and customers.
 
Responsibilities and Duties
 
Have the skill and knowledge to describe and perform:
The diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration, HVAC and EMS equipment in the supermarket, cold storage, and convenient store industries as is common in the service trade.
The Inspection, troubleshooting, installing and repair of in-warranty and out of warranty commercial refrigerated equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, kitchen and merchandising refrigeration, deli cases and ice machines for fast food, restaurants, and supermarkets.

Job Requirements

Required Experience / Qualifications
5 years of experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
Large-Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience
Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
Experience Inspecting, troubleshooting, installing and repair of in-warranty and out of warranty commercial refrigerated equipment such as walk-in coolers and freezers, kitchen and merchandising refrigeration, deli cases and ice machines for fast food, restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores
Commercial refrigeration system start-up and repair.
Must have a high level of IPC skills.
Must be able to read and understand schematics.
Must have a working knowledge of EMS components and operations.
Communicate with customers and home office regarding the status of specific projects
Preventative maintenance
Hold a valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
Has prior refrigeration equipment (cold side) service experience, 2 years preferred
Has legal authority to work in the United States
Can pass a drug screening
Agrees to a background check
Can communicate effectively both  written and orally
Can demonstrate a working knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical systems
Can demonstrate proficiency of necessary computer skills (email, internet, Word, Excel, Outlook)
Practices and abides to OSHA safety regulations
Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
