Overview:

We're looking for a driven, communicative, creative and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to dive into this hands on role. With ample room to advance, you'll support our growing marketing department by executing a wide range of marketing initiatives across the enterprise and subsidiary brands. In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional team members, stakeholders, and vendors to implement marketing and communications strategies, maintain brand consistency, and successfully meet project deadlines. Responsibilities may include developing internal communications, coordinating events, promotions, and campaigns, implementing social media strategies and analyzing performance metrics. You will also assist in managing the creation of effective marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations. As an experienced marketing professional, you should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, social media management platforms and preferably some graphic design software. Finally, strong project management skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential.

 

Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Manage marketing projects – bringing together resources and stakeholders to drive marketing initiatives aligned to business goals; managing budgets, timelines, resources, etc. related to projects that may include but are not limited to content strategy and development, campaign development, presentations, trade show marketing, branding, market research, communications, photoshoots, video development, etc... across multiple locations
  • Partnering with VP and other department managers to plan and build effective, integrated marketing strategies – both short and long-term
  • Serve as a Marketing department liaison with other teams and departments, fostering collaboration, gaining buy-in and communicating marketing objectives and results
  • Select and fully leverage project management tool to transparently and consistently communicate project details to stakeholders and project participants
  • Create and/or manage the creation of content for marketing strategies – this may require you to assist in design and writing projects as needed
  • Assist in building, documenting and training our marketing and business policies/ procedures
  • Monitor industry trends and staying up-to-date on best practices in marketing
  • Maintain a strong brand voice and identity across all marketing channels, while ensuring all internal customers have access to and training on proper use of brand assets, templates, guidelines, etc.
  • Assist in the management of the employee swag store
  • Maintain effective relationships with external partners such as agencies, vendors, and influencers
  • Ensure execution of ideas in alignment with brand and to a high level of creative excellence
  • Collaborate (and foster collaboration in others) with cross-functional internal teams across the  companies 
  • As required, help to ensure that all sites/ facilities have the marketing resources needed to operate and meet business goals
  • Ensure the required expectations are clear and approvals are acquired
  • Create and deliver presentations, lead meetings, etc…
  • Seek out information and relationships related to the aluminum trading and manufacturing businesses
  • Timely and effectively communicate any changes to project timelines, scope, budget, expectations, etc… managing expectations of all stakeholders

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, creative or related field from accredited college or university required

 

Experience

  • Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on marketing experience required

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams), Project Management Software, Adobe Creative Suite, etc…
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorships are not available
  • Travel as needed (up to approximately 20%)
