Job Summary

The HR Manager will oversee all human resources functions for a small family-owned company. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted partner to the leadership team and employees, balancing the needs of the business with employee well-being.


Key Responsibilities

· Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting jobs, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. Ensure smooth integration into the company.

· Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conflict resolution, and performance management. Foster a positive and supportive work environment.

· Payroll & Benefits Administration: Oversee payroll processing and administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

· Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies that align with the company's values and business goals. Update employee handbooks as needed.

· Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, and EEO. Maintain up-to-date employee records and handle audits.

· Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development opportunities for employees to enhance skills and growth.

· Culture & Engagement: Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and company events that promote teamwork and a family-oriented culture.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

· Experience: 3+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a small business or family-owned environment.

· Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

· Certifications: PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

· Work Style: Adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a close-knit, family-owned business
