Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:  Directs the Inside Sales Department consisting of Inside Sales Representatives, Product Development Specialists and Customer Service Representatives.  This Position coordinates customer service operations coordinating with production, scheduling, quality, shipping, credit and other departments to meet and exceed our client's goals of 'Delighting the Customer' and providing best in aluminum extrusion industry customer service. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 
Manages and direct Inside Sales staff personnel located in three of our client's facilities.  Track employee performance against established goals and objectives in preparation of yearly performance review and feedback sessions. 
Lead and motivate Inside Sales staff to achieve annual goals and objectives, KRA's and other metrics established by and in conjunction with management.  
Set and track inside sales metrics that are critical to goals and objectives, KRA's and goal of 'Delighting the Customer'. 
Prepare monthly reports on sales metrics, KRA's and goals and objectives. 
Adjust customer pricing on monthly, quarterly and as needed basis. 
Ensure quotes, sales orders, sales order acknowledgements, work orders, production and shipment holds, claims, invoices and other administrative procedures are completed in a timely and professional manner. 
Develops, maintains, revises department standard operating procedures (SOP's) as needed in conformance with IATF and ISO standards. 
Coordinate and facilitate communication between inside sales department and other departments in the organization to achieve customer satisfaction goals and on-time delivery performance. 
Work directly with production management to ensure scheduling requirements meet customer delivery requirements.  
Support Business Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers in developing new customers, assists in new customer set-up and new customer launch activities. 
The Inside Sales Manager is an expert in the EPICS production program and is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the data, training of individuals using the program and integration of the program into the new ERP system. 
Supports the Inside Sales Representatives, Quote Launch Managers and Customer Service Specialists in the performance of their duties. 
Performs other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • University degree and five plus (5+) years of related experience in positions of increasing responsibility.   
  • Aluminum extrusion experience in the automotive industry with OEM's or Tier I / Tier II / Tier III Suppliers - preferred
  • Thorough understanding of sales in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work with other departments: quality, operations, finance, engineering and others.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment
  • Highly motivated, self-driven, and eager to learn and apply new skills
  • Attentive to details and follows through on assigned tasks and commitments
  • Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information in a clear and concise manner
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available
