Job Description

 Similar to a Computerized Maintenance Managment Operator (CMM). Take a key role in the development and deployment of procedures, and standards for a manufacturing quality system that meets AS9100 and FAA requirements. 
 Assist with the establishment of an aircraft inspection plan including the programming of CMMs, laser trackers and other inspection tools
 Execute / Oversee the calibration system and tool management across Archer
 Assist in the development of training content to support new processes
 Assist in the planning and process for company inspection in support of FAA conformity inspection and certification process. 
 Support the development and roll out of Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques such as PFMEAs, control plans and SPC

Job Requirements

Requirements:
 High School Diplima/GED
 1+ years' experience in metrology with programming skills in CALYPSO, PC-DMIS or Metrologic and hands on experience using with CMMs, Laser Trackers, scanners or arms
 Experience creating and approving first article inspections with working knowledge of the tools required for inspection
 Experience with MES systems and creating inspection plans electronically  
 Experience working in a manufacturing environment in aerospace or other highly regulated environments
 Experience with tolerance and drawing reviews including assessing the ability to verify dimensional requirements

Preferred Qualifications:
 Experience creating real time dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft BI
 Experience with conformity and working with the FAA and DARs
 Experience setting up and overseeing of receiving inspection
 Experience with developing/validating automated inspection equipment in a manufacturing environment including working with SQL languages

*Work different shifts and/or work weekends, including overtime.
* Work in hot and/or cold environments
* Work around heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery
* Wear safety equipment such as safety glasses, sleeves, earplugs and steel-toed shoes
* Stand or walk for long periods of time each day
* Frequently bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 40 pounds
* Work in tight or closed in spaces
* Regularly climb ladder/man lift/stairs/crawl under vehicles if necessary
* Strong verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
