Integrated Healthcare Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Director to join our full-service, collaborative team in beautiful Sarasota, FL! As the Medical Director, you'll lead a dedicated team of veterinary professionals, including technicians and a practice manager, in providing the highest quality medical care, exceptional client experience, and a productive, engaging hospital environment. Position Overview
The primary role of the Medical Director is to oversee and manage the hospital's operations, ensuring the highest standards of medical care, client service, and associate engagement. You will play an essential role in advocating pets and their quality of life, fostering long-term relationships with clients, and educating both the hospital team and pet owners on all aspects of pet health and the human-animal bond.

As the leader of the hospital, you will work closely with the Operations Advisor, support team, and Practice Manager to ensure smooth and effective operation, improve the overall medical quality, enhance the client experience, and drive business performance.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Lead and manage the hospital team to ensure maximum productivity and performance
  • Provide exceptional medical care for pets and ensure their well-being
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging environment for the hospital team
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, educating them on pet health
  • Partner with the Operations Advisor and Practice Manager to improve medical quality, client experience, and hospital performance
  • Lead by example in providing top-tier service, medical expertise, and team support
  • The balance between leadership and hands-on responsibilities will vary depending on hospital needs and volume

Qualifications:

  • Veterinary degree (DVM or equivalent)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in management or leadership role, preferably in a veterinary setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and drive operational excellence
  • Passion for providing excellent care to pets and outstanding service to clients
