Program manager - Electric Motor Calibration team.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Program Manager to lead our Electric Motor Calibration Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing calibration timelines and deliverables, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring smooth communication to remove any gridlocks. This role requires a strong background in engine, transmission, and electric powertrain (EPT) calibration, as well as proficiency in ETAS INCA, CAN communications, and software release processes.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage Calibration Timelines and Deliverables: Oversee and ensure timely completion of calibration projects, meeting all deadlines and quality standards.
Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with various departments to manage content and requirements, ensuring alignment and integration across teams.
Remove Gridlocks: Identify and resolve any obstacles or bottlenecks in the calibration process through effective cross-functional interaction.
Communication: Serve as a key communicator, facilitating clear and effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
Data Analysis: Read and interpret engine, transmission, and EPT controller data to support calibration activities.
Software Release Process: Manage the software release process, ensuring all calibration updates are properly integrated and tested.
Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure high standards in calibration deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the calibration process and develop mitigation strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance calibration processes and team performance.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in engine, transmission, or EPT calibration.
Data Interpretation: Ability to read and analyze engine, transmission, and EPT controller data.
Software Release: Experience with software release processes.
Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively as a team member in a cross-functional environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
Diagnostic Tools: Must have experience with data acquisition and development diagnostic tools such as INCA, Vector tools: CANalyzer.
Valid Canada driver's license
Driving a Stellantis vehicle is required
Hybrid Work (2 days remote work) and might go to 5 days if working on critical projects
No travel to the US required

High Voltage Experience: High Voltage Battery or High Voltage powertrain experience.
Troubleshooting: Experience with electronic system-level troubleshooting and embedded controls/complex function root cause analysis.
Diagnostics Fundamentals: Understanding of diagnostics fundamentals.
Hands-On Tools: Extensive knowledge and hands-on use of INCA, CDA, CAN, CANalyzer, Canoe, and other electrical root cause tools (such as oscilloscopes).
