We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Illinois. This is a high acuity setting that offers full specialty backup, a manageable patient volume, and a supportive team environment. Only providers with a clean file will be accepted.

Job Requirements
Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
Active Illinois Medical License at time of submission
Active DEA license registered in Illinois
Clean File - No malpractice history or disciplinary actions
Certification Required:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
DEA
Emergency Department Beds: 10
Annual ED Volume: 15,000 visits
Trauma Designation: Acute Stroke Ready Hospital
EMR System: Cerner
Required Procedure: Intubation
Admission Rate: 13%
- Shift Structure: 12-hour shifts (24/7 coverage)
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Night Shift: 9:00 PM - 9:00 AM
- Minimum Shifts per Month: 10-12
- Must be willing to work both day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- ED Patients Per Hour: 2
