Job Description
Skilled Nursing facility is hiring experienced physical therapy assistants for permanent positions in Carmichael, Fremont, and Hayward, CA
Schedule: 8AM-4:30PM
Job Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Patient Treatment: Directly assists patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to improve strength, balance, and mobility.
- Patient Monitoring: Observes patient responses before, during, and after therapy and reports findings to the PT.
- Patient Education: Teaches patients and caregivers how to perform exercises and maintain health at home.
- Documentation: Records patient progress and treatment details.
- Setup & Maintenance: Prepares treatment rooms and equipment and keeps them clean.
- Support: Assists patients with mobility, including using assistive devices like walkers or canes.
Requirements:
Active CA PTA License/Certification
At least 1 year of recent experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
