Overview

Lam's training staff develop the technical capabilities of customer and Lam engineers through effective and efficient knowledge and skill transfer to enable optimized installation, performance, and productivity of Lam systems in customer fabs.

Our training centers are staffed by certified instructors and equipped with the most advanced equipment. Courses are offered in the following areas:

• Hardware training - system operations, preventive maintenance, and tool calibration
• Software training - use of Lam Research software products in troubleshooting and tool performance monitoring

 

 

Job Requirements:

• Conducts technical training courses for customers and/or employees in the use of complex situations for multiple products. 
• Works with engineering, technical support, and instructional design team to ensure that course material reflects current product features. 
• Instructs participants in both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions. 
• Follows up to determine applicability of course material.
• Helps maintain Training equipment for class use.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Capital equipment hardware experience.

 

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with working in the semiconductor Industry with in-depth knowledge of Lam Deposition Tools (Lam / Novellus C2 products is a plus).
• Excellent people skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners.
• Experience in conducting training using ADDIE, or similar processes.
• Experienced with Microsoft Suite and Virtual Reality helpful but not required.
