The Selector, Night Shift position is responsible for accurately selecting, palletizing, and preparing refrigerated food products for customer shipment within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Products may include meat, dairy, produce, and other refrigerated goods stored within multi-level rack systems.
This role operates warehouse equipment including electric Power Jacks, forklifts, and RF/Vox communication systems to fulfill customer orders safely and efficiently while maintaining company productivity and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review work schedules and prepare equipment, tools, and supplies for daily operations
Perform safety inspections on Power Jacks, forklifts, and related warehouse equipment
Select customer orders using order sheets or Vox Audio Communication Systems
Retrieve products from multi-level rack storage systems and place items onto pallets
Transport completed customer orders to shipping dock staging areas
Verify product counts and inspect orders for damaged goods
Wrap, label, and prepare completed pallets for shipment
Rotate date-sensitive inventory and maintain organized storage areas
Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and packaging materials from work areas
Inspect pallets for damage and move pallets to designated storage locations
Rotate between order selecting and trailer loading duties as assigned
Maintain cleanliness throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, and trailers
Replace or recharge warehouse equipment batteries and complete inspection checklists
Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately
Secure equipment and finalize end-of-shift procedures

Ability to work in refrigerated warehouse conditions
Ability to perform physical warehouse duties including lifting, standing, walking, bending, and repetitive movement throughout the shift
Commitment to workplace safety and proper equipment operation
Ability to participate in company orientation and training programs
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
