GATE CLERK / TRANSPORTATION CLERK

LOUISVILLE, KY (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

$18.00 PER HOUR

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS
7am -3 pm

Premier Staffing Solutions is hiring Gate Clerks / Transportation Clerks for a major distribution and manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with warehouse, shipping & receiving, dispatch, transportation, gate clerk, logistics, customer service, data entry, or administrative experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Check drivers in and out of the facility
• Verify paperwork, trailer numbers, and shipping documents
• Communicate with drivers, carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel
• Enter information into transportation and yard management systems
• Assign RFID tags and maintain records
• Perform trailer and lot checks
• Resolve paperwork and scheduling discrepancies
• Maintain organized records and documentation

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, transportation, gate clerk, dispatch, shipping/receiving, or office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and data entry experience
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
