Responsibilities:

• Financial close responsibilities including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations and preparing financial reports in accordance with internal and external deadlines
• Maintain the company's system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets
• Assist with financial planning activities including budgeting and forecasting
• Manage and support the filing of 1099 Forms
• Drives documentation of processes and procedures to support a strong internal controls environment
• Assists in the provision of information to external auditors for annual financial statement and compliance audits
• Partners with the risk management team to ensure internal broker trade data is complete and accurate

 

 

Qualifications:

Education

• Required: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Experience

• Required: 2+ years of Finance or Accounting experience

Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls
• Ability to thrive as a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Possess a continuous improvement mindset
