Job Description

Description:The Technical Training Commodity Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:
* Define and develop the courseware for our automotive technical curriculum
* Conduct technical training development needs analysis and solution planning meetings 
* Provide media selections and alternative training plans based on course criteria 
* Interact with engineers, instructors and other subject matter experts to ensure course accuracy and efficacy of activities
* Perform research, including disassembly of actual components/vehicles to gain product knowledge 
* Follow specifications and style guide to ensure consistency and quality 
* Manage the development process timeline from start of work to handoff  
* Manage the development of multiple courses at the same time
* Deliver trainer-the-trainer sessions 
* Monitor and regularly update existing content to align with industry and technology changes 

 
Job Requirements
 

Requirements:

* Extensive knowledge of automotive components and systems
* A degree is preferred but if you've got good experience, we'll take that, too
* 5+ years' experience without degree
* 1-2 years' experience with an automotive technology degree (associates or bachelors)
* Ability to physically perform automotive service activities 
* Strong communication skills - written and verbal
* Ability to interact effectively with various personality types
* Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction, including self-guided study, to stay current with technology
* Familiarity and ease with office automation programs (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.)
* Must have excellent time management and organizational skills
* High level of attention to details
* Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 and Adobe Creative Suite (including In-Design) would be a bonus
