Propulsion System Simulation Engineer - Battery / Energy Systems
Overview
We are seeking a Propulsion System Simulation Engineer to support advanced engineering programs through detailed modeling and simulation of battery and energy storage systems. This role focuses on analyzing system performance, including discharge behavior, durability, and charging characteristics, to inform design and testing decisions.
This is a hybrid position offering a balance of independent technical work and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Hybrid schedule (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct simulations of battery and propulsion systems, including:
- Discharge performance
- Charging behavior
- System durability and lifecycle analysis
- Analyze simulation results and recommend next steps to support engineering and testing decisions
- Track simulation outputs, assumptions, and action items for ongoing program support
- Manage and prioritize simulation workload across multiple projects
- Collaborate with engineering, validation, and design teams to integrate simulation insights
- Maintain detailed documentation of simulation models, inputs, and results
- Support continuous improvement of simulation methodologies and workflows
- Ensure simulations align with project timelines and engineering standards
