Controls Technician III
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician III to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial control systems and automation equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and control networks while supporting safe and efficient production processes.
Schedule: First Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Candidates must be available for overtime, weekend work, and schedule flexibility as business needs require.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PLC and HMI systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, instrumentation, and industrial control systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automation equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain field instrumentation, including pressure, flow, temperature, and level devices.
- Analyze system faults and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Support automation initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control drawings.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of system changes.
