Qualification, education, and experience requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of related experience with High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/oversight; have working knowledge of precision calibration tools (weld gauges), be able to operate multiple types of welding equipment, and possess good trouble shooting / problem solving skills.
- Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work multiple shifts (as needed) and travel (as required).
- Able to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols.
- Respirator Qualification Required
- Must be a team player.
- Flexible, willing to work long hours, safety oriented.
Weld Test Requirements:
- GTAW
- Tri-Metallic SMAW
- Flux Core FCAW
- MIG GMAW
- Pulse GMAPL
Successful candidate must possess the willingness and ability to complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements which may include but are not limited to COVID-19 screening, medical, psychological (if required by site), background and substance abuse screening(s).
Work Authorization Requirements
- Proof of Identification - Driver's license or any other identification card issued by federal, state, or local government that contains a photograph and the person's name, date of birth, gender, height, eye color, and street address.
- Must be a citizen of the US, its possessions or territories, or lawful permanent resident as defined by USC 1101(a)(20), or protected individual as defined by USC 1324b(a)(3)
Proof of US Citizenship (must provide one)
- U.S. birth certificate (birth documents issued by a hospital, notifications of birth registrations; and Puerto Rico birth certificates issued before July 1, 2010, are not accepted
- Valid, unexpired U.S. passport or U.S. passport card
- U.S. Certificate of Citizenship or Certificate of Naturalization
- A record of Military Processing-Armed forces of the United States (Form DD 1966), provided it reflects U.S. citizenship.
