The company is deploying a new Sales Planning application to the Sales Organization called internally “Compass” to allow the Sales users to plan prices and volumes with automated integration to SAP and event maintenance.
 
The Change Management and Communications Consultant responsibilities will include:
  • The candidates will need to apply structured company Change Management methodology, execute Change Management, Communication Plans and other Change Management activities in coordination with Sales IT in the implementation of the “Compass” application. 
  • The application will be rolled out to 40 additional company Sales Teams (~120 users). Broader Change Management and Communication Plans have already been developed.
  • Change Consultants in this project will now be tasked with assisting internal partners in the execution of these plans
  • Apply the company change management methodology process and tools to support adoption of the changes required by the “Compass” project.
  • Support communication efforts: Facilitate the execution of communication plans, support the design, development, delivery and management of communications. Very strong communication writing and verbal skills are required. Experience with using multiple ways for communicating, social media platforms, digital signage (strong PowerPoint skills), newsletters, job aids, emails, etc.
  • Support training efforts: Facilitate the execution of a training plan, provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs (e.g. train the trainer).
 
Additional responsibilities may include:
  • Consult and coach project teams regarding Change Management and Communications.
  • Coordinate efforts with other change leads.
  • Assess and manage stakeholders.
  • Track and report change management issues as a part of status to project team.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance.

 
Job Requirements

 
Details:

  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills are mandatory.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Change Management
  • Specific experiences in Change management in Sales Planning processes. Experience with CPG a plus.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal a must.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts in a multi-national, Fortune 500 global Consumer Products organization.
  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development or MBA is preferred.
  • Change management certification or designation desired.
 
Areas of Expertise Needed:
  • Must Have Previous IT Systems Change management execution experience - highly prefer Sales Planning and Consumer Products Background.
  • Candidate must have Organizational Change Management experience in the people side of change which includes Change Impact, Stakeholder Management, Communications and Training.
  • Excellent communication writing skills is a must  
  • Must be able to travel in US or Canada
