Our client is looking for a Deskside Technician with experience supporting a Windows 10 migration. This position will be building replacement PC's for CMA. This will be a very hands on position and candidates must be willing to crawl under desks while being professional. The candidate will interact with customers on a daily basis and must have sharp organizational and communication skills in order to schedule customer visits and meet the target time given to complete tasks. This candidate must be able to work independently as well as working closely with a team. Complete and troubleshoot Data Migration from old pc to new pc. Test and clean PCs, laptops and other related hardware as needed. Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot software and computer peripherals as needed during the upgrade. Set up, configure and add all required hardware during upgrade. Restore all user and configuration data from user’s backup. Provide technical support to end users via telephone or deskside. Assist in researching and documenting improvements to processes upon discovery. Assist coworkers in resolution of end users’ technical issues post migration. Able to perform in a fast-paced environment. What do you need to succeed? *3+ years corporate desk side support experience with strong emphasis supporting Windows 7 and Windows 10 *Experience troubleshooting and replacing hardware on Lenovo PCs *Experience using Active Directory *Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Office 2016 including MS Lync, Microsoft Outlook Web Application (OWA) and the Outlook 2016 client *Experience troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues *Quality Customer Service skills *VPN experience. *Experience with basic hardware printer support *Experience with Symantec productions including Endpoint Protection, Bitlocker, SCCM, and RDP What you’ll get *Work with brilliant minds, often within a global capacity; *Comprehensive Benefits package that includes 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement, medical, dental and vision insurance, and much more; *Opportunity to participate in professional development eLearning programs within the Stefanini University, and other virtual trainings as well.
