Job Requirements


What Will You Do?
  • Automating routine tasks through ServiceNow including design, creation, and administration of key components such as forms, workflows, catalog items, metrics, service level agreements, reports, and dashboards.
  • Collecting and compiling reporting and metrics approaches from multiple clients and proposing new innovations to manage more efficiently.
  • Combining business knowledge and analytic insight with programming skills to develop applications to meet specific business requirements.
  • Utilizing predefined release and change management processes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools.
  • Creating and modifying ServiceNow tables and/or views as necessary.
  • Delivering a positive and value-adding experience to clients in every interaction.
  • Developing and documenting best practice approaches and reusable assets.
  • Developing and managing scripts, user interface, CMS portals, and other ServiceNow platform customizations.
  • Engaging with customers to collect data, advise customers, develop solutions, and advise customers to ServiceNow solutions.
  • Loading, transforming, and maintaining data interfaces between ServiceNow and other systems.
  • Monitoring logs, performance, and overall health of ServiceNow instances.
  • Ensuring that all responsibilities are complete on time and within budget. 
  • Utilizing established coding and quality standards.
  • Researching industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.
  • Researching and deploying new releases, applications, and enhancements into the ServiceNow environment.
  • Responding to and addressing customer issues and inquiries in a timely fashion.
  • Writing and maintaining up-to-date documentation related to application administration and configuration.
  • Participating in presales activities such as RFP responses, solution design, and work estimation.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Succeed?
  • Bachelor"s degree required, Master's or graduate certifications preferred. 
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent long term client, supervisor, and peer relationships.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a courteous, professional manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Internet Research.
  • Experience supporting web based applications.
  • Experience (2-5 years) developing applications utilizing JavaScript or GlideScript.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining ITSM Tools.
  • Experience with web UI development technologies that include HTML5, CSS3, and AJAX.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and Software as a Service (SaaS) architecture.
  • Knowledge of relational databases.
  • Knowledge of IT service management and ITIL service operations and transition processes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of identity management, authentication approaches, and integrations (LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, OpenID.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools and integrations (SCCM, Puppet, Chef).
  • Knowledge of operations management tools and integrations (SCOM, SolarWinds).
  • Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Experience using web services for systems integration (SOAP and/or REST) is preferred.
  • Experience working closely with SME"s, project managers, and process owners to capture business requirements.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow database architecture is preferred.
  • ITIL Foundations Certification or existing knowledge, experience, and/or training to enable attainment of certification within 90 days.
  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification or existing knowledge, experience, and/or training to enable attainment of certification within 90 days.
