Details:

Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Create and maintain global standard documentation for network infrastructure and overall global networks.
2. Design and support a Cisco SAE, NSO, WAN and server environment. This includes routers, switches, firewalls, security.
3. Conducting wireless site surveys and wireless and LAN site assessments.
4. Strong understanding and knowledge of global infrastructure wiring standards (i.e., ANSI/TIA/EIA-568B 1-May 2001 or ISO/IEC 11801.)
5. Supervisor and/or conduct predictive wireless assessments and deployments at global sites. 
6. Perform installation, configure, maintenance and upgrade of Meraki-based hardware.
7. Hands-on on Meraki and Cisco based WAN technology along with Circuits knowledge (MPLS, VPLS, DIA).
8. Hands-on on routing protocol on BGP, OSPF & ISIS.
9. Hands-on on experience Cisco N9K, C9K Switches and L2 & L3 switching.
10. Experience on project related documentation like VISIO Creation, SOP MOP, SOW & implementation planning.
11. Mentor other junior engineers, manage 5-6 large simultaneous Network projects per quarter to completion.
12. Monitor system for trouble areas and proactively resolve and document root cause.
13. Managing the overall site installs, maintenance, upgrades or software enhancements to support the network infrastructure needs.
14. Function as a point of escalation for operational entities regarding regular or complex issues.
15. Work on daily service tickets while engaged on various network projects.
16. Engage with manufacturer technical support experts to quickly resolve issues as they arise as necessary.
17. Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex topics into layman terms

Details:

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor"s Degree in Engineering or an associated discipline and a minimum of 7 years" experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of Degree. 
• Minimum 7-plus years of applicable networking experience. 
• Significant experience with Cisco/Meraki based networks and dashboards. 
• Significant experience planning and executing network projects.
• Significant experience Firewalls (Palo alto, ASA). 
• Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of LAN & WLAN technologies, network management, and 802.11 b/g/n/ac standards.
• Significant troubleshooting skills complex network issues with analysis tools such as Ekahau, Air Magnet, Wireshark, Net scout, Solar wind etc. 
• Experience or understanding of scripting languages, such as Bash, Perl or Python 
• Past experience working with customers remotely and over the phone to assist with network troubleshooting and ability to escalate issues as needed. 
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Team products including Visio, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
• Willing to work occasional on-call and after hours support rotation as needed.
