Job Description

Stefanini EMEA is looking for a UC and Conferencing System Engineer, to complement the technical capabilities of our Network & Unified Communications Tower within the EMEA Modern Enterprise Services.

The role is responsible for handling day-to-day technical operations like remote administration, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting for various conferencing platforms and MS Teams devices within the environments of our customers.

Our new colleague will perform technical projects and support activities as well as business requirements analysis, design and solution implementation support, key to delivering services to customers according to specific agreements with them.

The ideal candidate will have experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing all aspects of videoconferencing system. Additionally, they will be comfortable and capable when working on customers" video conferencing platforms either when configuring new features or when diagnosing all manner of video, voice and communications faults and be able to work well under pressure as part of a team or individually.


  • Ensure continuous and efficient operation of systems in scope through troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving incidents along with handling of routine maintenance activities;
  • Ensure correct implementation, configuration, use and maintenance of in-scope technologies and environments related to Microsoft Teams and other Conferencing Devices;
  • Ensure focus on technical integration and consolidation activities to achieve better synergies within our delivery teams and with our customers" IT teams;
  • Act as an SME on assigned technologies for team members and customers;
  • Administer, configure, and monitor relevant devices and services through MS Teams Administration Center and other legacy platforms;
  • Remote Troubleshooting for videoconferencing and engagement with other 3rd level support or product groups for MS Teams Rooms and Polycom video conferencing devices (until they get migrated/replaced to MTR);
  • Remote MS Teams related assistance for Smart Glasses and Phones;
  • In collaboration with local field engineers, ensure videoconference room equipment (legacy and to-be) is operational and proactively check the correct and consistent setup of conference room equipment for the easy and reliable usage during meetings and conferences;
  • Monitor videoconferencing meeting rooms functionality via remote monitoring and initiate actions to address flags and alerts and monitor till room is back online and functional;
  • Drive and execute firmware upgrades or other software related activities as needed;
  • Initiate 3rd party vendors (current and to-be) actions related to installation/configuration/ replacement / repair / changes on the conferencing hardware, in collaboration with other Stefanini or customer teams (i.e., IT Asset Management, Local Field Support, etc.);
  • Collaborate with selected workplace technology supplier and customer product teams to receive hand over and training during site migration. This includes acquiring know-how for later support and setting up way to engage workplace technology supplier.

Job Requirements


  • Full working proficiency with English;
  • Experience supporting large environments;
  • Working experience for Enterprise & Mid segment customer on Video platform;
  • Excellent hands-on experience administering, configuring, and troubleshooting Video Conferencing and Microsoft Teams devices (rooms, phones, etc.);
  • Experience with Cisco/Tandberg, Polycom, Lifesize or any other video conferencing systems;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365/MS Collaboration suite and experience in managing Digital Workplace and Collaboration Technologies;
  • Technical troubleshooting and debugging experience;
  • Scripting experience leveraging PowerShell and/or other programming languages;
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, switches, routers, firewalls, and protocols;
  • Knowledge of Voice communications;
  • Experience working with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes i.e., Incident Management, Request Management, Change Management, etc.;
  • Experience working in ITSM platforms i.e., ServiceNOW, Microfocus, Remedy, etc.;
  • ITIL Foundations certification is a plus;
  • Technical Certification are a plus.
