Job Description

Scope 
 
In this role, with the aim of improving business efficiency and productivity, you will be responsible for the complete life cycle of a existing IT system, from analyzing existing arrangements to implementing systems and providing training. Your 'Day-To-Day'
 
  • Maintenance and support for IT Operations System (Manufacturing/Logistics/QA); 
  • Interact with users to assist with resolution of issues, requests and challenges related to the systems in scope of support. Gather information related to incidents, determine the root cause of the problems and drive resolutions to permanently address the users' issues. Coordinate investigation with other support teams, if needed (e.g., with infrastructure support team); 
  • Analyze and understand IT related business requirements, perform gap assessments/interpret the client's requirements to identify potential solutions;
  • Coordinate testing to confirm delivered functionality before the update of the system is released to the production environment;
  • Provide training and instruction manuals for new or upgraded system functionalities;
  • Constantly and proactively assess existing system state and prepare improvement points to address defined limitations.


 
Job Requirements
 

What we are looking for: 

 
  • A university degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent will be an asset;
  • Working experience with MS SQL server and related services (e.g., SSRS);
  • Confirmed experience of using T-SQL syntax; 
  • Good understanding of Service Management Processes (ITIL);
  • Experience in DELMIA Apriso will be an asset;
  • Understanding of manufacturing and logistics business processes;
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work within a big cross-regional team;
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are essential;
  • Ability to cope with stress and workload;
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call support model;
  • Fluent English.
