Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer who will handle alerting of network and system problems and will work to resolve them. Our client is a Worldwide association of the airlines companies which supports airline activity and helps formulate industry policy and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot outages, alarms, and performance issues related to Network throughout the organization.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and firmware upgrades on Fortinet devices to ensure optimal security and performance.
- Provide technical support on security architecture, improvement, management, and remediation for Network devices.
- Respond and provide cross-team analysis related to network issues or deployments.
- Understand change control requirements to ensure compliance with the audit system.
- Physical installation and troubleshooting of all network equipment at remote locations.
- Design, write and update system documentation and network diagrams.
- Monitor and diagnose performance.
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- Proven experience with Fortinet and Cisco
- Solid knowledge of routing BGP protocols and experience in real WAN environment
- Solid knowledge of AWS/Cloud platforms
- SD-WAN Technology knowledge
- Strong technical background and engineering skills with projects that involve networks, switches, routers, physical/virtual server platforms.
- Knowledge with configuring and troubleshooting IPSEC, SSL VPN, LAN, WAN
- Knowledge of Security best practices, frameworks and standards
- Must be able to interpret and derive conclusions from security logs.
- Knowledge on Fortiswitch, Cisco Catalyst 9K, 4K and 2960X switching product line.
- Must be able to navigate and maintain Network Monitoring and Management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, Nagios XI.
- FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, FortiNac and large-scale, multi-site network infrastructures is mandatory
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux OS.

- Ability to work as a SME in the design and troubleshooting the company's global network and security technologies.

- Excellent English written and oral communications skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment or individually.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers.
