Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise applications.

Responsibilities: 
  • Design, develop, and implement new business requirements and product features in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring scalability and alignment with business goals
  • Maintain, optimize, and continuously improve the existing codebase by refactoring legacy components, fixing bugs, and enhancing overall system performance and reliability
  • Ensure high code quality by writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best engineering practices, coding standards, and design principles
  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests to guarantee application stability, reduce regressions, and support continuous delivery processes
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions while collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

 
Job Requirements
 


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Java backend development, building scalable and maintainable enterprise applications
  • Strong knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Framework (Core, Boot, Security), Hibernate, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Experience with MySQL, Liquibase, Maven, Git, and SonarQube
  • Solid understanding of software design, architecture principles, and clean code best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing using JUnit 4/5, Mockito, and Cucumber
  • Ability to maintain and improve existing codebases while implementing new business requirements and features
  • Familiarity with Docker, Gradle, or Vert.x is considered a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in Agile teams
  • Proactive and ownership-oriented mindset, suitable for a Mid+ engineer transitioning toward a Senior role.
