Job Description

We are looking for an OT  Technical Lead to deliver and validate end-to-end OT cybersecurity solutions through controlled pilot deployments in live factory environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring both security and operational effectiveness, supporting the scale-up of a global cybersecurity initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate approved OT cybersecurity designs and recommendations into executable pilot technical packages.
  • Assess implementations against approved architectures, standards, and policies, identifying design gaps and site-specific constraints.
  • Propose technical and operational improvements to enhance the reference solution and address identified risks.
  • Act as the remote Technical Lead during pilot deployments, coordinating local OT and IT teams while bridging global and local Operations.
  • Ensure pilot implementation and testing activities are safe for production and aligned with plant requirements.
  • Coordinate and provide technical guidance to external vendors, including OEMs and system integrators.
  • Lead the validation of deployed solutions and coordinate functional, integration, and security testing activities.
  • Troubleshoot OT, IT, and cybersecurity issues across networks, firewalls, access paths, and related technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with OT security standards and internal policies, supporting cyber risk reduction initiatives.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including configuration reports, test scripts, procedures, user manuals, and lessons learned.

 
Job Requirements
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OT Engineering, OT Cybersecurity, OT Consulting, or OT/IT integration.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • OT Network Segmentation & OT/IT Integration
  • Network Security & Remote Access
  • PAM & Active Directory
  • SCADA and Industrial Networks
  • Experience leading technical deployments, testing, troubleshooting, and coordinating vendors or technical teams.
  • Experience with risk assessment, compliance, and technical documentation.

Language Proficiency

  • English: Professional written and spoken proficiency.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with OT cybersecurity projects in manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of PAM, remote access solutions, and OT security standards (e.g. ISA/IEC 62443).
  • Certifications such as GICSP, OT Cybersecurity, Scrum, Agile, or Project Management are a plus.
  • Strong testing and validation mindset.
  • Experience working with SCADA, industrial networks, and shop floor environments
Work conditions:
  • Working hours: 40 working hours per week
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Working setup (hybrid, on site, remote): Hybrid, 1/2 days from home

  • Salary starting with 50000 EUR gross/year, depending on seniority level. 
The final salary offer will be determined based on gender-neutral, objective criteria, such as, but not limited to the experience and seniority level required for the role, as outlined in the job description. This will be further assessed during the technical interview.
