We are looking for a creative and motivated problem solver who will partner with our SVP of Business Acclimation and Process Improvement and our Head of M&A to support the integration and operational aspects of M&A activity including diligence, closing, and integration. Role and Responsibilities:
Lead integration activities for acquired revenue cycle management companies, including analyzing the operating and administrative processes, developing and maintaining tailored integration plans, building and maintaining a consolidated master integration schedule, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet defined integration targets
Manage the M&A integration efforts, help create integration plans and processes to ensure that Assembly achieves the strategic and operational objectives of each transaction
Develop trust and relationships quickly with new acquisition team members, and apply demonstrated knowledge and trusted advice when interacting directly with senior-level leadership
Identify and resolve complex, operational, interpersonal, and interdependent issues that are often unique to each deal and operating environment
Perform as an advanced leader and consultant with expertise, and take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help Assembly Health grow its business and refine its integration strategy
Ensure uniform integration of Assembly Health's systems and processes where needed to drive competitive proficiency, innovation, margin expansion, and new business development
Manage all service providers and ensure their products and/or services are integrated and cost effective; identify additional value-generating opportunities as integration of service providers progresses
Facilitate meetings in person and remote, regularly reporting progress and tracking adherence to milestones
Assist in developing integration progress updates, case studies, and related materials for both internal and market-facing stakeholders
Provide leadership toward additional value-added and cost profile improvement activities and support operational and departmental excellence post-integration on an ongoing basis as needed
Create operations-specific project plans and timelines and ensure execution across all workstreams
Always maintain honest and ethical conduct through personal example, establish the style and approach that will characterize Assembly's reputation in the marketplace
Qualifications & Skill Set:
BA/BS degree from a four-year college or university
Experience leading strategic business transformation initiatives and/or major development programs including integrations, and experience working on deals of varying sizes, executed with a track record of success
Strong project management, planning, and organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment. Ability to take initiative and navigate through ambiguity
Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders and cross functional partners, motivating and collaborating while driving results
Previous private equity-backed or startup company experience preferred.
Data-driven approach to solving problems and measuring results
Healthcare industry and Revenue Cycle Management exposure is also preferred.
Willingness to take responsibility for outcomes and make the decisions that will lead to those outcomes
Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Proven experience in researching, evaluating, negotiating, and managing third-party service providers
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, Formal lean/ Six-Sigma training or certification preferred
Travel requirement up to 50%
Flexible in handling a wide range of duties and projects simultaneously and as needs arise
Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
