BHI Energy is looking for a Warehouse Specialist who is responsible for the receiving and inventory functions, as well as administering the plant inventory program. Ensures that the inventory of parts and equipment is complete and accurate. Will operate and maintain a forklift as part of routine responsibilities.
 
 PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
 * Ensure accurate entry, proofing, and submission of purchase orders based on stock replenishment and management direction. This includes proper product costing, shipping instructions, and resolving any changes or discrepancies.
 * Maintain records of all fixed assets and purchase requisitions and obtain all necessary signatures for approval
 * Assure all received items are properly inspected, accounted for, documented and stored
 * Maintain inventory of all goods, including sorting, counting and organizing
 * Effectively communicate information to plant management relative to the condition of the warehouse and availability of material
 * Operate and maintain forklift, loading and unloading trucks.
 * Place and retrieve inventory in warehouse with a forklift and pallet jack.
 * Load and unload production machinery.
 * Maintain logs and maintain sanitary conditions in an ice production facility
 * Maintain the plastics and ancillary packaging inventory and report at month end.
 * Operate shrink wrapping unit on full pallets.
 * Label fully packed pallets.
 * Create shippers for in accordance with authorized shipments.
 * Document every single bag of product being shipped with the proper BOL.
 * Abide and maintain all the safety policies on the dock as well as the truck while the truck is being loaded.
 * Assist in keeping plant generally clean and neat.
 * Support any other tasks as deemed necessary for plant operations and maintenance.
 * Support any other responsibilities that may come about.
 * Will provide other support as directed by the Plant Manager
