Job Summary
The IC&E Technician will perform routine maintenance as well as emergency tasks involving instrumentation, controls and electrical functions on plant equipment.
Here's a look at some of the work you'll be performing:
* Maintenance activities vary from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting in a combined cycle power plant
* Assist and advise team members on all instrumentation and electrical equipment and systems
* Analyze equipment performance by processing test data using schematic drawings, diagrams and manuals and recommend appropriate action
* Understand and utilize the computerized maintenance management system for the plant to input and retrieve job-related information
Qualifications / Education / Experience
* Ability to understand procedures and instructions specific to the area of assignment as would be acquired in four years of high school
* Experience performing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of instruments, controls and electrical equipment (preferably in a power plant environment)
* Background in basic electricity, electronics and instrumentation functions * Familiar with PI and its interface with the DCS
* Familiar with all power plant systems and equipment such as but not limited to combustion turbines, heat recovery steam generators, steam turbines, station and instrument air, Siemens T3000 distributed control system, Allen Bradley PLC's, and continuous emissions monitors
