Major animal nutrition company seeks Key Account Manager to further develop sales via their distribution partner in the southeast.  
 
The job
Represent a well-known brand of horse and backyard animal feeds in TN, AL, MS, & GA, working with a major distribution partner in the region.  The key objectives of this job include
  • B2B dealer development calls
  • Training retail sales staff how to sell and merchandise the products
  • Solving problems for dealers and with distribution
  • Making sales calls to large stables or producers for with dealer reps

To be considered for this role you must have
  • A proven track record of selling feed products to farm stores and cooperatives 
  • Ability to cover 4 states in the southeast
  • Willingness and ability to overnight travel to cover territory
  • Strong sales skills, ability speak to small groups, strong follow up skills
  • Experience as a horse owner is preferred
