A well-recognized animal nutrition company seeks a Key Account Manager to further develop their business with the broiler or turkey operations in the midwest or southeast.  This sales role works directly with customers as part of the sales team developing new businesses selling the company's full range of feed products, commodities, and technical services. 

Territory:  Either the upper midwest turkey belt or the southeast broiler belt

Duties & Responsibilities include:

 - Introduce the company's product line to poultry nutritionists to help them improve production or solve problems
 - Actively maintain a top prospect list within the defined territory and recruit new accounts
 - Achieve annual business plan objectives.
 - Resolve customer concerns and questions in a timely manner 
 - Develop business development opportunities and develop new accounts
 - Keep an aggressive and innovative sales development program to reach specific sales

 - Ability to sell science-based products to technical professionals
 - Stellar reputation in the industry
 - Ability to work with little supervision
 - Live in upper mid west or southeast
 - Proven track record of sales success
