This person will be hired as the Assistant Plant Manager at their facility in Central Indiana and be groomed to take over their new feed mill in PA to be completed in 2024.

The role you will play: 

  • Responsible for all mill production areas from receiving through load-out 
  • Report to the Feed Mill Manager and manage the mill in their absence.
  • Lead 3 shifts (9 team members)for the production of feed for all their pigs in IN and OH
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor for the repair and maintenance of all equipment
     Ensure daily/weekly/monthly production goals are met, 
  • Collaborates feed deliveries with Feed Haul Transportation Supervisor 
  • Maintains accurate mill inventories reporting and levels needed to sustain daily operations
  • Ensure QA/QC tasks are complete
  • Provides necessary training in the areas of: Safety; Quality; Production Operations
  • Hold the Team accountable when it comes to safety

 
Job Requirements

 

Background Profile: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in Feed Manufacturing.
     BS in a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Proven record of success in managing and leading a team.
  • Understands Mill Control Systems (WEM, REPETE, BETA RAVEN, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Standards, FSMA & State Regulations
  • Knowledge to become a PCQI for the company's FSMA plan.
  • Skilled in inventory control and production scheduling
  • Ability to relocate to advance in your career
