● Conceive and set up all operational aspects and processes between our partner bank, processor, depository network, and other critical banking service providers. Work with compliance, product management, and engineering teams to ensure that the required terms and conditions, customer disclosures etc. are provided and processes adhere to all regulations
● Oversee the successful completion of daily deposit and payment transactions while ensuring compliance with expedited funds availability, electronic funds transfer laws and rules, Truth in Savings laws and rules, check collection, NACHA Operating Rules, Visa/MasterCard rules, and all state/federal regulations. Set-up and manage returns, chargeback, and customer atonement processes
● Identify ways to optimize and improve the customer banking service experience
● Identify and manage projects related to new banking services and the overall improvement of the customer deposits and payment experience
● Identify and implement transaction monitoring controls and reporting for anti - money laundering, OFAC, fraud, and suspicious activity and execute reporting
● Set up and manage our customer support center, optimizing for the best possible customer service across email, chat, IVR and call center channels
● Drive improvements to policies, procedures, and processes; re-engineer (as needed) to maximize effectiveness and efficiency
● Manage existing service providers relationships; evaluate, recommend and develop new banking services vendors, strategies, and processes
● Responsible for identifying, quantifying, aggregating, and mitigating exposures of emerging risks and evaluate alignment with risk strategy
● Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory reviews

What You"ll Need:

● Bachelor"s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field
● 8+ years of payments experience with a focus in digital consumer payments and/or banking
● Deep knowledge of: payment processors and vendors, along with their products and services; related state
and federal laws and regulations; and other payment-related policies and procedures
● Curiosity for emerging payments technology and what is on the horizon
● Ability to improve and document procedures that are easily understood by others
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
● Strong execution and program management skills
● Ability to work with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications
● Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification
● 3+ years in payments risk management and controls experience
● Experience setting up and managing payments and customer support operations
● Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus
● Prior experience working in small teams is a plus
