Has a vision beyond today! Understands the consumer payment systems ecosystem and business drivers and forms a strategic vision to energize CU's presence in the payment space. Responsible for driving the development and execution of the credit union"s overall payments strategy
Not afraid to take it all on! Oversees the day-to-day operations of the ATM/ITM, debit and credit card, ACH, check processing and School Business Services functions and ensures compliance with various organizational policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
Develops and implements strategies to ensure strong performance and growth of the debit and credit card portfolios and digital payments.
Oversees daily operations of ATM & ITM service and support and makes recommendations to enhance fleet functionality and performance. Coordinates the maintenance, installation and removal of credit union owned terminals.
Responsible for all departmental internal and external audits and related NCUA exams.
Ensures all contactless EMV cards are in compliance with industry standards and certifications are completed in co-ordination with plastic orders. Responsible for maintaining sufficient inventory levels of card plastics and ancillary supplies.
Researches, analyzes, recommends, and implements operational, technology and product/service enhancements.
Participates on special project teams, committees and focus groups to consider ideas and implement projects/process improvements that support the credit unions strategic and annual business goals and objectives. Attends management meetings, training programs/seminars for self-development and plan direct functional area meetings

Job Requirements


Here is what we are looking for:

A minimum of 8 years of management experience with a minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry leading ATM, debit and credit card programs. Extensive knowledge and experience with Visa, MasterCard, and ATM Network rules and regulations and a general knowledge of ACH and check processing is required. The ideal candidate would have experience working with First Data Resources, PSCU and Star ATM networks and would be able to manage multiple areas of responsibility. Additionally, project management experience is preferred.
