The Assistant Banquets Manager is Directly responsible for the performance of all hourly banquets food and beverage servers and is the personal representative of property management to banquet guests. As such, is expected to coordinate all aspects of the room, facilities set-up, and food & beverage service so that all efforts are directed toward guest satisfaction, the achievement and maintenance of division standards and profit maximization
This job requires extensive walking, bending, answering phones, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Adhering to all standard policies and procedures. Performing all guest contact activities in a cordial efficient and professional manner at all times, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. Maintaining a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and fellow employees, both within the department and in other hotel departments, to help achieve our common goals of maximizing guest satisfaction and profit margins. Maintaining a positive attitude toward the hotel and the job being performed. Must have flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to efficiently write and communicate in English.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
