The Rollins College Department of Education is seeking a Graduate Assistant to assist their team over the Summer and through the 2021-2022 academic year.
Anticipated Employment Dates: May 17 - August 13, 2021 & August 23 - May 1, 2022
Anticipated Learning Outcomes: As a result of providing test prep support there will be a better than 75% pass rate on the specific tests and subtests for which test prep support is provided.
Providing individual test prep support to undergraduate and graduate students on a case by case basis.
Assist students in securing testing accommodations where needed
Assist students in interpreting FTCE score reports and test analyses
Minimum Qualifications and Skill Sets:
The successful applicant will have passed at least the FTCE General Knowledge Exam and ideally either the FTCE Professional Education Exam or the Subject Area Exam
Must have accepted an admission offer to the MAT: Elementary Education or MAT: Education programs as a full time student (9 credit hours per semester)
Candidates interested in this role must be actively enrolled in a Rollins College graduate degree-seeking program during the Fall 2021/Spring 2022 semester and must remain actively enrolled in a graduate degree-seeking program for the duration of their employment in this position, maintaining a graduate student cumulative GPA of 3.0.
