The Riverside, CA office is seeking an Environmental Engineer or Geologist with 3-6 years of experience with environmental assessment and remediation projects with a focus on groundwater and soil gas sampling and operating and optimizing remediation systems and related equipment.
 
Responsibilities include planning field activities, communicating with Senior Engineers and Project Managers, developing project/system schedules, working with and training Environmental Technicians, ensuring quality execution and authoring technical reports.
 
Qualified candidates should possess:
  • 3-6 years of environmental consulting experience on assessment and remediation projects with focus on multi-media sampling, and remediation systems including:
  • Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling
  • Soil Gas Sampling
  • Remediation System Operation and Maintenance
  • System Optimization 
Additional experience should be in:
  • Groundwater sampling
  • Soil gas sampling
  • Collection of soil samples
  • Installation of groundwater monitoring wells
  • Installation of soil vapor extraction wells and soil vapor probes 
Additional Skills and Experience:
  • Oversee environmental site assessments, soil and groundwater assessments, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, remediation system design/operation, system construction
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Possess presentation, loss prevention, and interpersonal skills;
  • Act as technical writer/detailed reviewer of data/reports;
  • Quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) accountability; and
  • Data analyses in support of scientific investigations and engineered solutions 
Education:
BS degree from an accredited college/university with a major in environmental engineering or geology. EIT/GIT license with plan to obtain PE/PG license is a plus.
